Annual Mugs for Mutts and Cups for Cats

 May 3, 2014     WINE 'N WHISKERS

During this past year we have busy with several projects.  Some fundraisers and some as an outreach to the community.

We always assist LCAS with their rabies clinics, in the spring and early summer.  We are setting up our third rabies clinic at the DSS building for the fall.  We have also raised money through sales of donated items at our building. This year we expanded to Fantastic Finds in Newton, Bark in the Park Huntersville  and Karen's Hair Styling in Vale.  All monies raised are put straight back into our programs. We again this year were awarded a grant from LCCF.  A generous benefactor has added money which we are matching to be able to offer free spays for eligible owners.  Watch our facebook page or website for details.  This past year also we offered "specials" such as $30.00 s/n and $40.00 s/n. along with our regular price of $55.00, we are the best price around. HSLC works hard to keep our pricing low yet offer a quality spay/neuter program. Since we now have a place to post pictures, we will be taking more and sharing them with you.
